Red Carpet offers a show as entertaining as one of the major fashion runways. Often, the stars through their choices create their own fashion trends. Inspired by them, H & M launches Glamour Conscious Collection, a special collection of red carpet outfits made from sustainable materials. Amanda Seyfried, Viola Davis, Kristin Davis and Michelle Williams already showed us on the red carpet, some pieces of the collection.
Amanda Seyfried wore a blue blazer with shorts at a premiere in London, while Oscar-nominated actress, Viola Davis, was seen in intense pink outfit, consisting of skirt and sleeveless top. Kristin Davis wore a green dress with embroidery at the Vanity Fair event, and Michelle Williams chose a gold corset from organic cotton and a long black skirt, personalized for 2012 BAFTA Awards in London. H & M Glamour Collection included an outfit inspired by one worn by Michelle.
Glamour Collection includes clothing items with different styles, reflecting both the variety of red carpet fashion, and a variety of possibilities in the fashion industry more environmentally friendly. Outfits are made from organic materials such as cotton and linen, and recycled polyester in shades of green, pink or beige, floral, colored, elegant embroidery and fancy cuts.
Here’s a preview of the collection that will be available, on April 12, in over 100 H & M stores worldwide. Evening dress, cream, made from organic cotton and silk will come in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces.
